Events & Activities

Real coverage of an event as it actually happened — the people, the room, the moments nobody thought to stage.

Also called Event photographer · Corporate event photography · Community event photographer · Activity photography

Event photography works best when it disappears into the room rather than interrupting it. I cover conferences, community events, classes and workshops, launches and company gatherings the same way: quietly, moving through the space, catching what is actually happening rather than lining people up for posed shots between sessions.

What coverage looks like

The setup and the arrivals, which set the tone for everything that follows. The main activity itself — a class in progress, a speaker on stage, a room full of people doing the thing the event is actually for. The candid moments in between that a phone camera in someone’s pocket always misses. And, if useful, a short set of deliberate portraits or group shots while people are already gathered, because those are much harder to arrange after everyone has left.

Pricing

Event coverage runs at $400 an hour with a three-hour minimum, quoted honestly against your schedule rather than sold as a fixed package that does not fit your event.

Booking it

Give me as much notice as you can — good events get booked out — but ask even if it is short notice, because I would rather tell you honestly if I am free than have you not ask at all.

What to tell me

The date, venue, roughly how many people, and what matters most to you about the coverage — a full narrative of the day, a specific set of moments, or just enough to show what the event looked like.
